Network and Server Support and Security

We offer support for Windows Server and Windows Server Essentials. We’ll make sure your server is always properly monitored and patched, and that your business’s critical data is safely backed up. We can also support your transition to cloud services for your email and file storage needs including Microsoft Exchange and in the cloud and file storage and sharing in the cloud.

We take a multi-layered approach to protect you from malware, hacking and ransomware at the workstation, server, and network levels. Managed AV helps protect your computers (and therefore your network) from viruses, and allows us to centrally manage virus definition updates and quarantines, and to receive alerts if the software stops running or if the computer’s security is compromised.

We also manage your firewall. All business-class firewalls have built-in anti-virus and anti-hacking software. Too often, when these devices are not set up by professionals, this important extra layer of security is not configured. We’ll make sure you’re protected on the network level as well as on the workstation and server level.

Backup Systems

Your data is your company’s most valuable and irreplaceable asset. We offer several backup choices including some regulatory-compliant options (HIPAA, FINRA, etc.). We’ll work with you to implement the backup strategy that best meets your needs and budget, whether cloud-based, locally based, or a hybrid of the two.

Most importantly, we monitor your backups daily, and perform regular routine restoration tests to make sure your data is backed up as it’s supposed to be. Don’t wait to find out about a problem with your backup on the day you need to restore your files.

End User Support

Our affordable Managed Services plans offer you the option to include unlimited remote tech support to assist your users with both operating system and application issues throughout their workday.

Of course, if your employees don’t need that much help, you can purchase help desk support on an as-needed basis and only pay for what you use. Unlike many other IT companies, we don’t insist that you purchase an “all you can eat” plan that forces you to pay for services you don’t need.
